2020 so far ......
The year 2020 has brought new challenges to us all as we face the Covid-19 pandemic.
Whilst many industries and businesses have had to close we are lucky to have been able to continue running our business introducing no contact order procedures.
We've been glad to see alot of people staying home and rediscovering their gardens or taking up gardening as an interest.
Many retail nurseries and florists have introduced no contact sales, pickups and deliveries.
We have had some highlights so far this year read more below
Unfortunately The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) was cancelled due the covid-19.
We always love to be part of the show and were lucky enough to still be able to provide some of our Leucadendrons to The Greener Garden Company, who created the garden they intended for the show in their own backyard in Melbourne for all of us to enjoy virtually.
Check out some of the pictures below and visit The Greener Garden Company for more
Mother's Day
Mother's Day is always a busy time for our Flower production, although our Proteas were a little late to bloom, they arrived just in time for us to process them and get them to wholesale florists and into the hands of many deserving mothers see some of the flowers we processed below
Covid-19 meant that the monthly NGIV Trade Day was not held in April and May.
We returned for the June Trade Day (pictured) with Social distancing measures in place.
It was great to see our customers and industry colleagues once again.
The Landscape Show
We have been proud to be a sponsor of The Landscape Show in the past, the show was moved online due to Covid-19 and Landscaping Victoria did a great job turning it into a Virtual Show
We look forward to supporting the event again in 2021
As we move into the second half of 2020 we are still keeping busy filling orders and propagating Proteas, Leucadendrons and more for cut flower growers, landscapers, retail nurseries, wholesale nurseries and our own cut flower plantation.
We are loving the renewed interest in gardening by many people and seeing campaigns like #plantpals and #rediscoveryourgarden taking off on Socials with industry experts and gardeners sharing their passion and knowledge of gardening.
Happy Growing and Gardening
