Plant in a free draining acidic soil.
Although Leucadendrons are drought tolerant, soil should be kept moist in the first year until plant is established, once established they may require some watering in extremely dry conditions.
Leucadendron Summer Sun will benefit from pruning after flowering usually mid spring when after the 'pom poms' start to brown, this will help to maintain shape and size.
