Description: Leucadendron Springthyme is an upright evergreen shrub with fine rope like grey foliage that produces yellow flowers in spring followed by purple-crimson cones in summer .
How to look after Leucadendron Springthyme:
Plant in a free draining acidic soil.
Although Leucadendrons are drought tolerant, soil should be kept moist in the first year until plant is established, once established they may require some watering in extremely dry conditions.
Prune Leucadendron Springthyme by removing cones (which are lovely in floral arrangements) this will encourage new growth and help maitain shape of plant.
